We tested through a number of shipping platforms and the best way I can put it is that Shippo is the best of the worst. Response times from customer service are wildly inconsistent - range from same day to 4 days. Overall reliability of the platform is ok, but if you do run into an issue, like say one of your carrier rates isn't working properly, just make peace that Shippo is not going to fix anything. They'll blame it on the carrier, then tell you it's fixed, and it still won't work. You'll follow up, then look at your calendar and realize you've been messaging with the same person for 2 months about the issue and are nowhere near a resolution. The support agent will be very nice, but have no details, information or be able to actually assist in anyway. May make more sense for Shippo to outsource their support teams to Better Help. No phone support, no access to technical support... they have very nice customer service agents who will happily give non-answers, hollow sentiments, etc. Overall, Shippo has cost our business far more than it's saved. To end with a nice statement, I will say it's better bang for your buck that ShipStation or any Auctane owned platform.

Edit: says something about the priorities of service at the company that they won't respond to any reviews...

Easy to use shipping portal with absolutely terrible customer service. The free account is worth checking out but I can't recommend the paid account based on the complete lack of customer service. Not being able to ship two packages in one shipment is also kind of annoying.

We've submitted at least three help requests with only one completely irrelevant response.

I don’t recommend this company at all!
I had a shipment surcharge dispute with UPS that is their mistake and the Shippo customer service did not helped me!
Don’t use Shippo if you want to save money and time!! There’re a lot competitors that works a lot better as PirateShip, BikeFlights….

Shippo is a great service for the price! I have been using them for a few years now and really like how streamlined it is with my BigCommerce store. I recently had an issue with one of my shipping providers and Amanda in customer service went to bat for us and helped us fix the problem. Would recommend them for any small businesses shipping needs.

I would not recommend this company, had a shipment surcharge dispute and their customer service did not go the extra mile. Had supporting docs and they did not do right by me. Reputation is vital in business and if there is any lesson for Shippo to learn it is that this negative review will hurt more.

They are now ignoring my emails, they won’t provide me any details on my package that was supposed to be shipped a month ago. They aren’t refunding me the “refundable insurance fee” they claimed would be Guaranteed.
I really wouldn’t recommend this shipping service if you can help it.
First 2 weeks they were very helpful and worked on the problems, but it all went down hill and they up and left with my money and package.
