As an owner operator I’m very selective on broker carrier relationships I develop. I’ve hauled for this company in the past but recently in the past 4-5 loads I have agreed to haul with them they have either cancelled after booking the load and sending ratecon or have agreed to award me the load but never provide paperwork. There is an unprecedented level of unprofessionalism that has been displayed by inexperienced broker representatives and rather than act with transparency and truthfulness they would rather mislead lie and or avoid an interaction. In my opinion this is a reflection of poor management/leadership or lack there of. I’m not the only one who has shared these same concerns as these absences in character and professionalism has been echoed by other owner operators in the community. If you don’t want to partner with a carrier on a load that’s fine it’s understandable. Just be truthful and transparent rather than to mislead, deflect or just waste people time. There’s enough bad actors and untrustworthy people in this industry and as a corporation it’s disheartening to see there’s not more of quality assurance and or best practices being taught to inexperienced broker representatives.

These brokers are the worst, they are scammers, they steal your money, they don't say they are going to pay an amount for a load and you see that you deliver it, they don't even pay you what was agreed upon, in reality the worst thing is, don't take loads with them, this has happened to several carriers.

Well I drove to the address listed on the website which it had a sign in front of it pulled up in the parking lot and went in and talked to somebody and they told me they did not occupy the building no more that they had moved contacted them sent them the information I needed to get a quote on or needed to ship I actually I didn't really need a quote I just needed to ship it I didn't care how much it cost because it needed to be there like 2 days ago so I waited around a few hours got tired of waiting so I went somewhere else still have not heard back from them but the merchandise is shipped all the matters.

Tim with Cowtown Express was outstanding to work with. Tim listened to what I needed and delivered exactly how I needed it. His quote was very competitive, even so that I did not call around to anymore companies after. Tim sent out Willy to deliver my equipment and this gentleman was outstanding. I have been in the construction industry for over 25 years and own my own company so it was so very nice to see two people that care about the customers and perform the level of service that they delivered. I highly recommend Tim and Willy with Cowtown Express.

Tim at Cowtown gave us the BEST customer service today. We called on a Friday afternoon in a major bind, desperately needing help with supplies; due to issues with our normal vendor. We literally had less than an hour and half to pick up freight that was 45 minutes across town. Tim immediately got to work on this and they came through BIG TIME for us!!! He kept us well informed through the whole process. Uh-mazing customer service!! They really saved us today! Always a pleasure to work with Cowtown. My first experience with Tim, and he went above and beyond.

I’m one not to write reviews but I feel that protecting other drivers from unnecessary hardship is important.
First the sign on bonus. I, like another driver, worked 5 weeks and didn’t get that first $500. Second is the pay. Their website states they have drivers making $2000 to $3000 weekly. False advertising. Third is the fees charged for leaving. I can understand the early termination fee but the truck reset is not proper. I was told they have to clean the truck and put a new mattress in there. I didn’t get that when I started. Mattress was old. I did try to get the manager to adjust my last check. He fell back on the termination fee and truck reset cost and told be best of luck.
I hope this helps someone with the decision they make contemplating signing on.

Cowtown Express provided excellent service across the board. After initially contacting them, they promptly responded to my RFQ. Interfacing with them was especially helpful. They answered all of my questions, and were exceptionally thorough when figuring out the logistics of our delivery/shipment. Cowtown is definitely at the top of the list when it comes reliable logistics companies.
