I have been shopping at Marvin's since it was purchased from the previous owners. My experience over the years has been mostly positive. There are always some hiccups along the way that sometimes leave a bad taste in your mouth, but overall it has been an enjoyable experience. I have noticed measurable improvement in the customer service area as well as the line of products added over the years. Good job guys and thanks for saving me from a trip to Dothan.
( Continuous measurable improvement.) That's what it's all about!

Always extremely helpful. They don't have the inventory and selection of the larger home improvement stores like Lowe's, but they have a very nice staff and it is a good store for a lot of the necessities.

This is the only home improvement store in Eufaula AL. And it pretty much has all your basic needs to repair or improve something that needs fixing. Their prices are a little bit higher but it's customer service is spot-on. They are eager to help you and answer any questions you may have.

This happened today for the second time. The cashier at around lunchtime had a man and lady at counter with many items on counter and cashier was trying to look up a part for the man. As the line grew longer she went to the register where the man had his items and moved them to a cart. The lady in front of me left her items outside, 2 tomato cages, and left. The cashier then said next from the other register. There was a man close and he got rang up. I went from front of line to back after the shift. I left my poly molding and other items in the center tool section between registers and told her she could put it up I’m leaving. I have left before because she was preoccupied with helping someone instead of cashiering. I got home and called to talk to Charlie to explain and he never answered the call. Albany Lowe’s doesn’t seem so far now.

Not a bad hardware store, their prices seem to be a little high compared to some of the big box stores but the staff is usually pretty helpful and and the stihl service department seems to be pretty good

They referred us to go to lakeside lumber company for OSB plywood when all along she either knew that where she was sending us was not the correct place or either she was a employee at Marvin's working the front counter THAT ABSOLUTELY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT NOTHING. The correct place that the young black lady working that front counter should have told us to go to.........Lakeside Builders Supply which we didn't even know existed cause we were not from there. So after riding back and forth between the two places, we finally made it and purchased what we needed. That was ALOT OF WASTED TIME THAT COULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY AVVVVOIDED!!!!!!!

I have just changed my review from a 1 star to a 3 star because of the owner actually replied to my review about this matter. It's really not that big of a deal but with it being clear across town and with me being gone off my jobsite for that long is what made it a little bigger deal than what it should have been. Thanks for your reply back to me on that. I know that employee(s) probably didn't even know that it's a difference between the 2 lakeside stores. Thanks Again!

I have issues with getting help. It seems to be a chore for them to help anyone that is not a big construction company. Mocks the fact that I'm not as knowledgable as others. I didnt know I was to help load or load heavy items or lumber. They have the monopoly in eufaula alabama. I feel they could treat their customers nicer
